Your story.
Our stage.
Morning Star is coming to Sofia. A new edition of the international arts festival will bring dance, music and theatre to a stage in the capital. Dates and venue are still to be announced — follow this page so you don’t miss the opening of applications.
The Sofia edition of Morning Star will bring together soloists, schools and creative groups. As at every edition of the festival, participants present their performances in competition sections organised by discipline, age and performance format.
The dates, venue, rules and participation fees will be published on this page once they are confirmed. Online applications open after the dates have been announced.
In the meantime, explore the other editions in the festival calendar or contact the team with any questions.
One application brings together every performance by your group. Choose a discipline and age group for each act, add the music and check its duration. The organisers will review applications and publish the programme here.
Discover Sofia.
Sofia is Bulgaria’s capital and its largest cultural centre, a city of theatres, concert halls and museums at the foot of Mount Vitosha. The festival edition is a chance to combine the stage with time to explore the city.
